It's hard to think of decorative hardware that screams "strength!" more than a well-made, stylish brass and wood shelf.
Long ago, we crafted wood shelves to be a centerpiece for our decorative brass hardware offerings. They're still going strong after more than 55 years!
Single, Double, and Triple Wood Shelves
Our wood shelves can hold a lot of weight because they're supported by brass hardware that won't rust or bend under normal use.
We use ipe wood (pronounced "e-pay"!) that's exceptionally strong. It's a popular choice for flooring and decks and lasts several times longer than other woods. It was even used to construct the Atlantic City boardwalk!
With this kind of strength, we knew we could offer triple wood shelves with confidence:
Pipeline Collection. Finish: Brushed Bronze.
And of course we offer single and double wood shelves, too.
Dottingham Collection. Finish: Matte Gray.
Carolina Collection. Finish: Antique Pewter
All our wood shelves are available in 16" and 22" lengths X 5.5".
Add-on Options and Plenty of Standard Finishes
Wait! There's more! 🤣
Add more to your shelf with add-ons like a gallery rails to keep smaller pieces securely in place:
Carolina Crystal Collection. Finish: Antique Copper.
Here's a very popular option: adding a towel bar under a shelf:
Southbeach Collection. Finish: Polished Brass
Or add both gallery rail and towel bar!
Montero Collection. Finish: Polished Chrome
These options are available on double and triple shelves as well.
Carolina Collection. Finish: Polished Brass
We recently added several more finishes to out palette. As a result, we now offer 28 standard finishes for every product - far more than our competitors. The only exception is the Pipeline Collection, which now offers 19 finishes.
Rugged Shelves, Bolstered with Stylish Brass Hardware
We're confident that you won't find wood shelves that deliver the strength and unique, stylish designs seen in Allied Brass shelves.
All our products are made to order, using hardy brass components we craft into decorative hardware right here in our factory in Virginia. We also do all our own design work.
Tango Collection. Finish: Satin Chrome
Brass offers the best options for decorative hardware:
- It will last a long time - think of brass antiques!
- Brass does not have iron, so it won't rust
- Brass is an alloy of copper and zinc. Zinc add strength to brass, while copper provides antimicrobial protections that actually attack viruses and bacteria.
