Est. 1950 — Handcrafted in Virginia

Built on Brass Since 1950

There's a moment in every well-designed bathroom when the details come together — the towel bar matches the robe hook, the mirror echoes the shower door handle, and everything feels intentional. That coordination takes seventy-five years of doing one thing and doing it right.

Our Story

Allied Brass was founded in 1950 in New York City — a workshop on Wooster Street in SoHo, back when SoHo was where things got made. The designs that built our name in the 1950s are still in the catalog today, selling alongside newer favorites like the Pipeline collection and our retractable garment rods.

In the early 2000s the company found its second home when the Andris family brought production to Louisa, Virginia, in the heart of the Shenandoah Valley. Today Allied Brass operates under Avondale Decor, LLC, led by President and CEO Robert J. Andris. Our catalog spans 2,892 master products across 41 designer collections — more than 75,770 variants — and every piece is plated and assembled at our Virginia workshop by people who take the work personally.

What Sets Us Apart

Solid brass construction. Every Allied Brass product starts as solid brass — the same corrosion-resistant alloy trusted in marine hardware. It won’t corrode, pit, or tarnish, and it has a weight in your hand that tells you it’s built to last.

28 finishes, one coordinated look. From Polished Chrome to Antique Copper to Matte Black, every design we make is offered in every one of our 28 finishes. Your towel bar, soap dish, toilet paper holder, and mirror can all speak the same design language — no compromise, no mix-and-match guesswork.

41 designer collections. Whether your style runs toward the clean geometry of Montero or the traditional warmth of Que New, there’s a collection that fits. Each one carries a consistent design language across every product type, so mixing and matching within a collection always works.

Concealed mounting hardware. No visible screws. No exposed brackets. The mounting disappears behind the piece, so all you see is the finish and the design.

Made in Virginia

Our workshop in Louisa, Virginia sits in the Shenandoah Valley — horse country, farmland, and a long tradition of making things by hand. Our team plates, assembles, inspects, and packs every order here. When you call our customer service line, you’re talking to someone who works in the same building where your towel bar was finished.

This isn’t nostalgia. It’s quality control. When the people who answer your questions walk past the production floor every day, standards stay high.

Our Promise

We stand behind every product with a Limited Lifetime Warranty, because we know how our hardware is built and what it can handle. We offer free shipping on every US order, because adding fees at checkout isn’t how we want to do business. And because every piece is plated to order in our own workshop, no design ever leaves a finish behind — the robe hook you need exists in exactly the finish you chose.

Allied Brass exists for one reason: to make solid, well-designed bathroom hardware that coordinates beautifully and lasts a lifetime. We’ve been doing it since 1950, and we’re not changing the formula.
